The English dictionary was one of my most cherished possessions as a child. I spent many hours searching through the pages, seeking out new words to use around the home and at school. If I didn’t have my head stuck in a book, I was writing stories or drawing pictures of my characters. This was a cherished hobby that continues to this day.
I may not walk around with a dictionary stapled to my hip as an adult, but I still carry a love for learning words and using them in unique ways. I’m always looking to expand my horizons and add my own special flavor to the written language.
I have a BA in English and know my way around computers, giving me a special advantage.
While I do know my way around the written word, I also consider myself a connoisseur of all things geeky. When I’m not writing, you might find me shopping online, reading, or even watching cartoons (I’m particularly fond of Penguins of Madagascar). My lhasa apso, Gus, enjoys partaking in these activities at my side.
